Acrylic on canvas

This painting was made using half-dried paints. I was working on a painting the night before, and I had poured too much paint onto my pallet. Instead of wasting the paint, I let it dry for roughly 24 hours, then made this painting the following night. If you let your paint partially dry, it really changes the character of the medium. The colors look dustier, the textures are thicker, and the application feels more like working with chalk or colored pencil. It’s a lot of fun and I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
