This is a portrait I made of my girlfriend. It’s based on a photo I took of her in a corn maze on Sauvie’s Island. This painting was my second attempt at her portrait (see Mystique for the first), and it was much more of a success. I don’t typically work in a naturalistic style, but it I do enjoy it once in a while – it’s less creative and more mathematical, but math can sometimes be fun too.
