I made this piece for a painting class. The assignment was to make a “self-concept” painting, something that represented who we are. Growing up in Montana, I spent a lot of time down by the creek. The goal of this painting was to capture the feeling of playing in the creek as a little kid, with flowers blooming and the sun setting.
