I made this piece at a house party. Many times in college, we would host small parties and kickbacks at our house. I wasn’t always in the mood to party, but I definitely couldn’t just relax or go to bed with all the sound. So, I would often just chill in the corner of the party and paint on small canvases. Many of my smaller works from 2022-2023 were made like this.
