This is a portrait of MF DOOM I made in the summer of 2019. Throughout 2018 and 2019 I was listening to lots of MF DOOM and had bought Madvilliany on vinyl. Around the same time, I had coincidentally picked up some canvases that were the exact same size as a vinyl record (12″ x 12″). Realizing this, I decided to use my record as an exact-scale reference image and painted the cover of Madvilliany.
