I made this piece for a painting class. The assignment was to make a painting in the style of our favorite artist. Although I don’t have a single favorite, I decided to make something in the style of Francis Bacon. I tried to put one his early-period figures in one of his later-period rooms. I think I did a good job of capturing Bacon’s vibe while still making something distictly unique.
