My Story

I am a 22-year old artist from Missoula, MT. I have been making art for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I always loved to doodle, making little drawings and patterns on any piece of paper I could find. In high school, I started to take art seriously – instead of just doodling for fun in the margins of my notebooks, I began creating finished artworks for display. It was around this time that I developed a passion for acrylic painting. My dad taught me how to paint when I was 3 years old, but I fell in love with the medium as a teenager. Today, most of the finished works I produce are acrylic paintings, but I still draw/doodle every day.

I went to college at the University of Portland, studying both physics and fine arts. During my time in school, I was able to take many art courses and work with a variety of different media. At UP, I was exposed to watercolor, sculpture, screenwriting, filmmaking and more. Additionally, I had the opportunity to take several art history courses, with a focus on European art. I graduated in 2025 with a BS in Physics and a minor in Fine Arts.

Today, I continue living and working in the Portland area. For my day job, I work as a medical physicist, helping to enforce radiation safety standards around the PNW. I continue to make artwork in my free time and I hope to one day become a full-time artist.
